Your username is not modifiable after registration. You can choose to display it publicly so that you name and first name are not visible on the website.

Once registered, you have to confirm your e-mail address in order to log in.
For this, please consult your inbox for the email address specified during your registration and click on the activation link in the confirmation email. You can’t find the message? Remember to check in your Spams 🙂

In order to create a card, you must first have created a professional account (see FAQ Create a professional account).

Once your account is created, you must be logged in.

  1. Go to « Add a card »Yogadvisor Add a card

    Note: you are the only one to see this menu displaying your first name.

  2. Subscribe to the yearly package that suits you best then click on “Next”. (see FAQ on packages). Plénitude package is currently free with illimited publication until 2020 🙂
    Or
    If you already have an active package, go to “Your packages:” select it and click on “Next”.
  3. Choose which type of card you want to create (“class” or “workshop or retreat”) then fill in all the fields, the more precise you are, the more your profile will be of high quality and appreciated.
  4. When the preview suits you, Click on “Confirm”.

    To save a card in progress, click on “Preview”. Your information will be automatically registered and will appear when you click on “add a card” and select a package.
  5. Valid from 2020: Complete the fields for billing and choose your payment method. You can pay by credit card, using a Paypal account or by bank transfer.
  6. Your card is created, you can view it, edit it, and see the number of visitors who looked at it.

Tips 2 :  Make sure you always have an active card to facilitate access to your “professional page” which contains the members’ reviews.

Packages are valid for 1 year from the date of subscription of the package.

With a package, you can create your cards (see FAQ What’s a card?).

  • The « class » cards will expire on the expiration date of the package.
  • The « workshop or retreat » cards will expire on the date of the beginning of the retreat or the workshop + 1 day, or if the start date of the event begins after the expiry date of the package, the card will expire at the expiration of the package.

You can choose the package which suits you better among Feather, Balance or Bliss.

For the launch of the website and until 2020, we offer you the Bliss package that consist in one free year of unlimited publications of cards of classes, workshops or retreats.

Once this offers will expire, the following will be available:
– 1 free class card per professional: unlimited duration.
– Several packages available according to the number of cards published in the year of subscription.

Concrete examples:

The packages are valid for one year from the date of subscription of the package.

With a package, you can create cards (see FAQ What’s a card?).

  • The “class” cards will expire at the same time as your package.
  • The “retreats or workshops” cards will expire on the date of the beginning of the retreat or workshop + 1 day, or if the start date of the retreat begins after the expiration date of the package, the card will expire at the end of the package.

If you still have cards available for creation, you can check how many you have left:

  • By accessing “My Account” and then “Dashboard” in “My Plans”
  • By accessing “Add a listing” in “Your packages”

Concrete example of expiration 1: You bought on 15/09/2018 the  Balance Package (3 cards) at 70 € for one year

This package entitles you to 3 cards.

  1. You create the first card, a class card, directly when you buy the package. Your card will expire on 15/09/2019.
  2. You create a second card, a class card, on 05/01/2019. Your card will expire on 15/09/2019.
  3. You create your last card, a retreat card on 17/02/2019. Your retreat starts on 05/03/2019. Your card will expire on 06/03/2019 the day following the beginning of the retreat

Concrete example expiration 2: You bought on 15/09/2018 the  Balance Package (3 cards) at 70 € for one year

This package entitles you to 3 cards.

  1. You create  the first card, a class card, directly when you buy the package. Your card will expire on 15/09/2019.
  2. You create a second card, a class card,  on 05/01/2019. Your card will expire on 15/09/2019.
  3. You create your last card, a retreat card, on 17/02/2019. Your retreat starts on 20/09/2019, 5 days after the expiration of your package. Your card will expire on 15/09/2019, ie the expiry date of your package..

4.1 Manage my data

On Dashboard are available:

  • Links to all possible settings of your account to:
    • view your orders
    • change your billing address
    • change your password and account details
    • manage your cards
    • view the statistics of your cards
  • A summary of the packages you have that have not been fully used

 

4.2 Manage my Profile

In “Account Details” you will have the opportunity to:

  • Link your account with your Facebook account and / or Google+ and / or Twitter. The goal is to connect faster. Indeed social networks are often already connected, the connection to Yogadvisor will be done in one click.
  • Change your name, first name, email address and password
  • Choose the name you want to display publicly: This is where you can choose to publicly display your username or first name.
  • Add your professional Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and / or Google+ URLs. These URLs will appear in all your cards in the form of clickable icons if they are filled in as well as above the “comments concerning the professional” on the page of the professional which contains all the cards of the professional. They are common to all your cards.

  • Change the default profile picture..
  • Add a short biography that will be visible on your cards below your public name.
  • Complete your public profile on the Forum (number of years of Yoga practice, date of birth, city).

Be careful, do not forget to click on “Update” to save your changes

 

4.3 Manage my cards

In “My cards”: The list of cards that belong to you is displayed with the possibility of:

  • Editing them
  • Copying them
  • Renewing them
  • Deleting them
    • Note 1: We recommend that you do not delete your expired cards. This will keep the history and reviews / comments associated with the card.
    • Note 2: Deleting a card will not make you “regain” the ability to create a new card to replace the deleted one.

The expiry date of the card is also indicated.

Cases of expired cards:

An expired card is no longer displayed in the “Class” page for a class card or in the “Workshop and Retreat” page for a workshop or retreat card.

However, it is not removed from the server except voluntary action by the professional (by going to “My Account” then “My Cards” and clicking on “Delete”).

We recommend that you do not delete your expired card. This will keep the history and reviews / comments associated with the card.

  • If you shared your card on your social networks, it will always be accessible.
  • Your expired card will always be displayed in your “professional” page. FAQ page of professional.
  • For a retreat card: those who have participated can leave comments / comments directly on the retreat card. They will be displayed in your “professional” page. FAQ page of professional.

After a retreat, do not hesitate to send back the link of your retreat card or your “professional” page to the participants to encourage them to leave their comments.

For your next retreat, when the users will consult your “professional” page they will see the comments left on your previous events.

An expired card is no longer editable.(You will have the possibility to renew a card if you want it to be displayed again).

 

4.4 Track my statistics

  • The number of visits on your cards.
  • You can change the start and end dates to view the statistics of your cards for a given period.
  • You can select the cards of your choice.

How to delete my account?

To leave a review on a card, you must be logged in.

  1. Go to the card on which you want to give your opinion.
  2. In the section “Give your opinion” after “Description” you have the possibility to click on the pink lotus to give your opinion on “The place”, “The atmosphere” and “The teaching”.
  3. Thanks for leaving a comment. If you do not fill in the comment field, an error will occur inviting you to fill in the comment field.
  4. Click on “Add Review”.

I want to leave an opinion on a card but I can not find it anymore.

This is because the card has expired. To find it:

  • If the professional has a class card visible in the “Classes” page or a retreat card visible in the “Retreats and Workshops” page, you can find your card by going to the valid professional card and clicking on “Professional page: See all cards and comments”:

  • If the professional does not have a visible /valid card in the “Classes” page or the “Retreats and Workshops” page, you can send him a message via the internal mail system to ask him for the link of the concerned card (or contact yoagdvisor)

You have access to the professional’s page by going to any card created by the professional.

You will find a button “Page of the professional: See all the cards and comments”, click on it and you will be on the page of the professional.

C – Forum:

The forum works the same way for members and professionals.

1.1 FAVORITES:

Members can put topics in favorites. Just go to a Subject and click on “Put in Favorite“.

Member’s favorites are displayed in the member’s profile.

To remove from the Favorites: You must return to the subject and click on “Remove from Favorites“.

1.2 SUBSCRIPTIONS:

Members can subscribe to Forums. Go to a Forum and click on “Subscribe“. Members will receive an email when a new topic is created in the Forum.

Members can subscribe to Forum Topics. Go to a Subject and click on “Subscribe“. Members will receive an email if a reply has been posted for a given Subject.

Subscriptions are displayed in the member’s profile.

To withdraw the subscription, go to the Subject or the Forum and click on “Unsubscribe”.

When you are on the main page of the Forum, the list of all the main Forums is displayed.

Click on the Main Forum if it does not have a Secondary Forum or on the Secondary Forum. The list of existing topics appears and below the possibility to create a new topic.

D – Internal Mail :

Internal messaging works the same way for members and professionals.
Click on the envelope on the right of the menu. (You must be logged in to access internal mail.)
In internal messaging, messages are displayed as a discussion between 2 members. You must click on the line that shows the last message to see the entire discussion.

1. Click on New Message.
2. In the Recipient field, you can search for a member through his last name, first name or username.
3. Fill in the “Subject” field and write your message.
4. Click Send Message. Your recipient will receive an email to inform him that he has a new message.

  1. You will receive an email notifying you that you have received a new message. Follow the link or log in directly to Yogadvisor.
  2. When you have an unread message, a green circle appears on the envelope:Yogadvisor you received a new message
  3. Click on the envelope
  4. The discussion looks like this: The green circle next to the heart icon means that the message has not been read. The heart icon allows to put the discussion in Favorite.   5. You see the whole discussion and you can reply. You have the option of “Report Abuse” or “Return to Inbox”.
  • Put in Favorite: you can click on the heart icon on the line of a discussion to put it in Favorite. To remove it from Favorites, click on the heart again.
  • Delete a chat: You can click on the trash icon on the line of a chat to delete it.
  • “Mark all as read” (to the right of new message): You can mark as read all the messages of all the discussions.
  • View and Sort: If you have many discussions, you can use filters to display only Favorites, unread messages, from newest to oldest, or vice versa. Then click on “Filter” to apply the filters.
  • Report abuse: In a discussion you have the possibility to “Report an abuse”, the administrator of Yogadvisor will get an email.

E – Glossary Yogadvisor:

On Yogadvisor, the cards are web pages containing information provided by Yoga professionals.

Professionals can create 2 types of cards:

  • class cards
  • retreats or workshops cards

On Yogadvisor, the professional page is a web page containing:

  • All cards created by the Yoga professional
  • A short biography of the professional if fulfilled
  • Feedback left by Yogadvisor members on professional cards

The professional page is accessible on any card created by the professional by clicking on the button “Professional page: See all the cards and comments”.
